Best boss-fighting weapon in early Hardmode

"The Scourge of the Corruptor is one of the best boss-fighting weapons that a new hardmode player can acquire". While I mostly agree, I must point out that, for certain bosses, it is certainly not the best option. Worm bosses are affected much more strongly by the piercing capabilities of the Paladin's Hammer, as well as any other boss who is slow enough that the player can remain quite close without taking much damage, like the Wall of Flesh. Fact is, this weapon is so powerful and hard to misuse that one quickly falls in love with it. In any case, I'm not sure if it would do any good to include that in the actual article, so I'll just leave this here for your thoughts. --186.136.108.121 03:57, 12 October 2013 (UTC)

I am not the guy who put that on the page, but I'd like to point out that the Paladin's Hammer is no longer obtainable in early Hardmode, along with many of the other powerful weapons found in the dungeon. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.195.109.20 (talk) at 20:41, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
Nor any of the dungeon chest weapons, for that matter, now that enemies don't even drop the keys themselves, and they have to be crafted by killing every hardmode boss (minus Golem) at least once. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.195.109.20 (talk) at 20:57, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

History of Tiny Eaters

Upon the weapon's introduction in 1.2, the Tiny Eaters did 55% damage and 30% knockback of the weapon. They would be spawned as groups of 2, with two 1/10 chances to be increased by 1 each, for a maximum of 4. In 1.2.4.1, they already did 70% damage and 35% knockback, and there were three 1/10 chances for a maximum number of 5 Tiny Eaters. This did not change until 1.4.1. I'd like to know at what point the first change was made because depending on that, the Nintendo 3DSNintendo 3DS version version might still use the original values. I have access to the source code of 1.2.1.2, but the values are unchanged from 1.2 there, so it has to have been in 1.2.2, 1.2.3, 1.2.3.1, or 1.2.4. 1.2.3 might be more probable because the weapon's damage was increased there, but then again, 1.2.4 featured a lot of changes as well. It would be great if someone could check this. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 15:39, 14 November 2021 (UTC)

All of those changes were made in 1.2.3. I'm not able to check if it affected 3DS though. --Eraloiz (talk) 22:24, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
Thank you! I'll just assume that 3DS did not get these changes then. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 00:11, 17 November 2021 (UTC)
