Talk:Space

no offense, but while nice idea to include this information, it is null as "space" is mostly just a graphical edit and addition to the sky. ONLY thing new, is decreased gravity. sky islands are of larger importance and local area. (ps: extremely unrelated but a question to wiki managers, why do some namespaces get blanked out or disappear? such as in the werewolf (buff) talk page had someone previously asking for assistance on completing the page, but now the talk page is blank.)164.106.166.23 21:00, 13 December 2011 (UTC)

I agree, this page isn't needed. It's just part of the floating island biome. --Moxxy 22:49, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
The page for space is necessary because players may be wondering what space is, so they'll need a place to find it. Also, Redigit has hinted at the moon being the final boss or closely related to the final boss, so the page could gain a lot more relevance later on. It should be kept. Space also has new enemies that users may not know of, and also a higher spawn chance of Martian Probes than the surface. Reecespuff (talk) 16:55, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

"Biome" start height specifics

I noticed the page gives approximations to the heights where the Surface ends and Space begins for each world size. Is this approximation also present because the actual height has a randomness to it, where that number is the average? Or has no one bothered to figure out the specific value? On my large map space starts at 980 feet so unless someone gets a different result I'm going to change the page to reflect that specific number.107.211.123.147 00:32, 4 January 2020 (UTC)
On my small world, with a depth meter reading of 534 at the highest allowed to stand spot, I get space starting at 345 feet. I created a new small world and space started at 385 with the highest allowed to stand spot being 584. This would be at 63.888% and 65.254% respectively of the above 0 area so the current stated value of >80% for when depth meter reads space is wrong.24.241.52.56 12:51, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
