Incorrect damage

I believe the damage value on this item may be incorrect. Not wearing any other gear, my True Excalibur has a power of merely 55. Theothersteve7 (talk) 02:44, 5 October 2013 (UTC)

Useful against the Twins?

Is this good enough to beat the Twins? I have full Titanium armor and a basic arena. I'd use the Terra Blade, but I only got 2 Broken Hero Swords at my solar eclipse :( — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.18.41.179 at 16:23, 5 August 2014 (UTC)

Damage Stats

If your True Excalibur has a different damage than what is listed in the wiki, and you think our numbers are wrong, please follow these steps:

1) Remove all your armor and accessories.
2) Cancel all your buffs.
3) Examine your standard, unmodified True Excalibur.

If your numbers still differ from what is listed in the wiki, please list the full name of your weapon, the platform you are using (PS4, 3DS, iOS, PC, etc.), and the Terraria version number. It would also help if you have a wiki account, so we can contact you if we have further questions. – Ferretwings (talk) 15:17, 23 August 2016 (UTC)

New changes to true excaliber in 1.4.1

For all versions other than Desktop the true Excaliber cant pierce, yet the gif showing the true Excaliber has the piercing in play. If there's a way could someone please put a video of the true Excaliber from a platform other than desktop? PS420 (talk) 17:42, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

Indeed, I have added an older version of the animation. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 21:37, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

Crafting recipe uses broken hero sword in desktop 1.4.0.1

As the title says. Checking with guide confirms that the Terra Blade requires a broken hero sword in order to craft it, and all wiki pages referencing its crafting recipe need to reflect this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.136.85.6 at 06:08, 24 August 2021 (UTC)

On pre-1.3 versions, Terra Blade requires Broken Hero Sword (BHS). BHS was removed from the Terra Blade's recipe in 1.3.0.1 update. Then in 1.4.1 BHS was re-added to the recipe, due to the True Night's Edge & True Excalibur's recipes were changed.
So, on 1.2 or before versions, crafting the Terra Blade requires 3 BHS. On 1.3.x ~ 1.4.0.5 versions the number is 2. On 1.4.1+ versions the number is 1.
At least the crafting recipes on wiki pages are correct. BadPiggy1024 (talk)

Doesn't True Excalibur use more than one projectile?

I'm pretty sure that True Excalibur uses Projectile_983 AND Projectile_982, rather than just Projectile_983, but I don't want to mess with the page without being 100% sure. If there's someone who can find out for sure if I'm right or just crazy, that would be appreciated. JackTheCuddlyLunatic (talk) 04:43, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

No, you're right, thanks for mentioning! The method Terraria.Player.ItemCheck_Shoot (Desktop version Desktop 1.4.4.9 source code) proves it, and in Terraria.Projectile.AI_190_NightsEdge (which defines the two projectiles' behavior) it can be seen that 982 is the one that creates the golden glow from the Excalibur while 983 creates the pink glow. I hope you don't mind that I went ahead and added the ID to the page. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 23:31, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
