Spawn Requirements

I'm pretty sure he only spawns when it's full moon, not blood moon. Can anyone confirm? ~Pozzuh

I believe full moons and blood moons are not mutually exclusive, and therefore both you and the article are ambiguous in your statements of spawn rules.

My very first blood moon of hardmode, my base got swarmed by werewolves, supported by gastropods and a clown. It was bloody. But I didn't think to make a note of the moon's phase at the time. I can't recall seeing werewolves during a blood moon since, so I suspect the rule is that werewolves can spawn during any full moon, whether it is a blood moon or not. --Manxome 20:02, 10 December 2011 (UTC)

I've always seen Werewolves on blood moons, every blood moon I've gone through, so I'm certain they spawn on blood moons Theenderfantom (talk) 12:07, 29 October 2019 (UTC)

I’ve only seen them on full moons, and have not had a blood full moon, so for at least mobile, It’s only full moons. Blue_The_Gaming_Wolf 8:58, 26 August 2020

glitched

i can't find a single werewolf and it's been 15 full moons so why won't they spawn? and yes, i'm in hardmode Wolf (talk) 18:20, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
