I'm quite sure that Yelets lasts for 14 seconds MrQubo (talk) 11:20, 2 July 2015 (UTC)

The Yelets lasts for 13 seconds.

A lot of Crit-Chance/DMG-stats are totaly wrong. Before posting wrong stats doublecheck that you un-equipted all your gear (including armor). I fixed 2 Crit-Chance-stats that I know since i have these 2 Yoyos (sold alot of the weaker ones so I cant check the correctnes of them)

Wrong stats (totaly)

I know the yoyos are new, but this forum is old, so most of you guys editing/adding the stats of items should be experienced with the game, so please un-equipt all accessoires/armor before checking the stats and use "clean", not reforged, versions for stats. One of the "bigger" faults is the Hel-Fire and the Amarok. The Amarok is actually a little stronger than the Hel-Fire (BaseDMG) but is listed weaker (false stats). The crit-chances are totaly "broken" listed here, please take a look at them and fix if possible if you get a "clean" version of a yoyo. Take account that the speed on yoyos increases the string as it seems, maybe even the "holdtime" (need confirmation there). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.199.42.74

This wiki is averaging well over 100 edits per hour, and it is impossible for us to keep up with the traffic. The update has been out for 40 hours so far, and I myself have logged 26 man-hours into the wiki already since then. In that time we've managed to create the 1100+ pages and we have almost finished uploading all of the images. To get that much done in the small amount of time that we've had is a feat in itself. The articles will likely continue to accumulate spam until traffic slows down a bit, and then we will go through and clean everything up, as well as recheck all of the stats.
The yoyo stats (which came straight from the source code), apart from the technical ones such as "airtime," are already on the individual yoyo pages, and you are welcome to copy them over yourself, rather than complaining about how messy the page is. Have a great day, and please remember to put ~~~~ at the end of your comments to sign them. Chrisf1020 (talk) 09:28, 2 July 2015 (UTC)
I found "airtime" part in the source code. Don't change these stats, please. If u sure they're wrong write it here and i'll check this. Updates might change some stats. MrQubo (talk) 11:54, 13 July 2015 (UTC)

So I've started modding Terraria, and looking through the source code trying to decipher the Yoyo AI, I've found some values that are right for most yoyo's, except for a few. The Rally for example should have 11 tiles range according to the code. Should I edit these values or wait for someone to confirm them?

Same thing???

Isn't selling the Format C after defeating the WoF the same requirements as selling the Gradient in Hardmode?

Just noticed that aswell. Format C - Skeleton Merchant after defeating Wall of Flesh. Gradient - Skeleton Merchant in Hardmode. -90.191.4.133 18:16, 26 August 2016 (UTC)

Yoyo drop from statues

It is mentioned in this article and in several others that biome-specific yoyos (e.g. Hel-Fire, Amarok) can be obtained from a statue farm. Well, I just tried to farm Amarok with 5 statues, and after quite a long time I got it... from one of the ice slimes I had killed while waiting. Looking at the source code for 1.3.5.3, it seems to me that only enemies that drop money (this.value > 0.0) can drop yoyos. Has anyone ever got one of those from statues in the 1.3.5? 176.193.134.193 12:13, 18 February 2018 (UTC)

Weird trick when using Yo-Yo Glove/Bag

While I was messing around with the yo-yo I found out that if you kept the yo-yo on the ground and you hit an enemy with it the second yo-yo WONT orbit around the first. It will go forward until it hits an enemy or until it can't go any further then it will go backwards and do the same thing (keep going backwards until it can't go any further). More experimentation is needed Skyntfklynrdy (talk) 05:31, 14 April 2018 (UTC)

Yoyo bouncing

I've noticed that yoyos bounce off enemies with varying vigor, with an obvious pattern showing that weak/early-game yoyos bounce off much farther than late-game or advanced yoyos, meaning a longer distance must be traveled to get back on target and therefore weaker yoyos will hit slower. Is this some sort of hardcoded mechanic, does it scale with other stats, etc.? Yoyo functions are rather confusing and I don't know if this is actually a distinct mechanic or if it's just coincidental. --2057clones (talk) 21:22, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
