The Register link on the home page is mislinked/broken

Update plz
ReLogic I ask kindly of you to plz update Xbox360 terraria once or twice so we (most of people with only a Xbox360 terraria) have moon lord items and have a better experience and at least have some of the stuff on the new wiki ,it is hard to find stuff on this wiki., I hope relogic sees this I love your game in this version but moonlord stuff is better.

- Sorry to say this, but they can’t. The Xbox 360 can’t handle the tremendous power that 1.3 needs, which is why it isn’t going to be updated ever again. Assuming you have a phone or tablet, get it on mobile, it’s cheap and has all 1.3 items, bosses and more. 84.66.142.205 16:28, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Acorns and saplings section does not include gem trees
On the tree page, I was scrolling through and saw the acorns and saplings don't include the new gem trees. This was easily noticeable when it stated that trees could not be grown underground and must be grown on grass, snow, or sand. I would fix it myself, but I don't know much about links or anything when it comes to editing things on the wiki (which I'm planning on learning later) and I also don't have much time on my hands. Separate Wikis
So a while ago, re-logic stated they hoped to add crossplay between pc, console, and mobile. If this happened, something that would make sense is if that version had a separate wiki to the legacy versions, so the disparities wouldnt confuse anyone. This would also help when future updates happen (seeing how many 'final updates' there have been, its more than likely). So simply, a separate wiki for the crossplay and legacy ones. - Hi, there isn't much interest in having two distinct wikis for that as the actual one already suffice. Also, it has already been brought that once Desktop, Console, and Mobile will have the same version, several tweaks might occur to "hide" pre-1.3.0.1 content (Old-gen console and 3DS) on pages, as these versions were terminated, in order to clean the icons excess on the wiki. - Yep, same for me. At first, I thought it was just a problem on my end, but when I go into the editing history I can see the images. My guess is a major update on the site broke them. Hopefully, it is fixed soon. TessboB (talk) 20:18, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

I'm trying to find a specific enemy
I played Terraria a long time ago and I found some kind of structure in the world with an old guy outside and I went inside the thing and a skeleton guy killed me scared me to death, i'm trying to find what it is so I can learn how to avoid it if I play again ItsBlueEnglan (talk) 12:57, 18 April 2021 (UTC)
- The structure you encountered is most likely the Dungeon. The Old Man is walking around in front of it. In order to enter safely, you need to talk to him at night and win the following boss fight. Terraria bosses and multiplayer, health, loot and drop per person
I looked around and I couldn't find anything about this. I was wondering if there is anything that has to do with terraria bosses and the players in game. For example, what if one person is farther away, would they be counted to boss health increase and given a treasure bag. What if one person summoned and then others joined, would the boss health increase or something? - On the Expert Mode page, some mechanics are listed. The boss's health is decided by how many players are currently in the world when first spawned, and treasure bags are given to any player that has damaged the boss at least once. And yes, this does mean you can cheese a fight by having everyone leave and rejoin at the start of a boss battle. --KM100 (talk) 22:21, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
Gemcorns

- Gemcorns need to be planted Underground or lower, on stone or moss. Make sure they have enough open space to grow. --KM100 (talk) 22:21, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
Nintendo Switch issue involving dyes
I've played terraria quite a lot on the switch, and recently I've come across an issue. Dyes aren't working correctly... Some of the dyes that you would get from the dye trader wouldn't work on accessories and none of the dyes worked in the armor/social slots. Instead it would cause the object to have no texture and in the case of the armor slots it would also cause your character's shirt, pants, or hair to disappear from the respective slot (Example: If I used Martian dye on the helmet slot the helmet texture would disappear and I would have no hair.) Can somebody explain to me what is going on and can somebody address the issue?

- This is a known issue with the Switch version. It will probably be fixed when it receives the 1.4 update later this year. --Eraloiz (talk) 14:44, 16 May 2021 (UTC)
sudden game crashes

Enemy

Need help on strategies on getting wings in hardmode as soon as it starts?

- I always go with Fairy Wings because they're better than the Tier 1 wings (Angel, Demon, Leaf) and it's a completely reliable, but tedious, grind. If you get an early blizzard, Frozen Wings are faster. If you don't like fighting wyverns, Leaf wings (weak and expensive) or Fin Wings (stronger but rare) are your only option.Mathbrush1 (talk) 02:59, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
Bad eicon links everywhere
Now that console is up to 1.4, a ton of eicon links are broken (!!Error: Invalid EICONS input!). Is it okay to go through and remove information that no longer applies to any version of the game? (I'm not talking about 3DS version, more like the really messy armor tables in Melee weapons that have multiple values for bonuses for Tavernkeeps armor and Solar Flare armor).Mathbrush1 (talk) 13:49, 1 October 2021 (UTC)

{{eicons|1.3.0.1|not=1.4.0.1}}(or with{{eversions}}) can be deleted along with the information that it's referring to (e.g. Special:Diff/1140778, Special:Diff/1140768, Special:Diff/1140724, Special:Diff/1140621), because no platform is between 1.3 and 1.4 anymore (and won't ever be again). --Rye Greenwood (talk) 14:28, 1 October 2021 (UTC)
- For the record, it has apparently been decided that the wiki should now also include the Nintendo Switch version and the Desktop patch that tModLoader is on in the version differentiation. Both of these are still on 1.3.5.3, i.e. between 1.3 and 1.4, and therefore all of the {{eicons}} are still/again valid. I was wondering this becuse this is my only accesinle form of knowledg for terraria.(i do like asking questions) if you need a good idea for a format, look at the subnautica wiki. (a extra link might need to be added to the explore tab(for direct access) I hope you consider this.THX.

- I'm assuming you're talking about discussions. Those currently aren't available on wikis that were originally on Gamepedia (wikis with a Gamepedia badge in their header). Even if they were, I'm not sure if we would enable them, since it's been talked about before in Discord and people were pretty heavily against it IIRC. --Eraloiz (talk) 23:24, 20 October 2021 (UTC)

List of ranged weapons incomplete

I'd like to be added as an editor to this wiki, I contributed to it quite a bit a few years back, before the gamepedia merge whith the whole wikia name debate was going on, and now that updates are rolling and and new pages are being added and edited constantly I'd like to get back to helping out. Massive Problem. Needs to be fixed ASAP
How has nobody noticed this?! The sprites of the icons in the mobile version are all messed up! Half of the guide icons are deerclops, switch or steam, the NPC's icons are microscopic, and so many other icons are too large or too small! The whole wiki is practically vandalized! "Old phone versions only" mark
If there's "Old-Gen console only" and just "Console only" marks, how about "Old phone versions only"? By "old versions" I mean versions with exlusive mobs, bosses and items, because just like old-gen consoles versions, old mobile versions had a lot of unique content, and just like there's a big step between old and new Gen consoles, there's a bug step between old and new mobile versions. Speaking of this, due to parity between PC, console, mobile, and Switch (DCMS) (also, finally), there should be in my opinion a marking for all three of these, just to reduce clutter. I think that it would be important to keep the ones we have just in case of differences between the versions, but I just find lists of 3 different versions to be quite the eyesore. Potentially a "Modern" icon can be used, although I do not have any ideas as to what the image would be. Perhaps a cog to signify that it is still being worked on (even if at this point it is minor updates). I know this point has been driven into the ground, but I figured I'd suggest an icon.
