- Hi, I don't really think I'd want to be a moderator here. Sure, I'm a guardian for Escapists wiki, but that's much smaller, and I'm not really able to be very available for discussion or comment - I just usually do things one-sidedly. - Just to clarify, by moderating, I just meant to revert vandalism. The role will just help you to revert faster vandalism and will avoid admins to manually patrol each of your legitimate reverts. - Yeah, I got that, but quoting the moderators page, "Moderators are expected to be available to the community and to be helpful to other members of the community while trying to accomplish community set goals on the wiki." Links in edit summaries
Hey, regarding your question in this edit summary on Shroomite Bar: You can add links in edit summaries just like in normal page text: [[<link target page>]] or [[<link target page>|<link display text>]]. For instance, you could add a link to the style guide via see the [[Terraria Wiki:Style guide#Formatting guidelines|style guide]] (though note that there's a handy shortcut designed for this exact use case in edit summaries: see the [[Project:LINKS|style guide]]).
External links, templates, HTML tags, and other wikicode will not work in edit summaries. Feel free to test as much as you want on the sandbox page! --Rye Greenwood (talk) 22:26, 23 October 2020 (UTC)

- "Internal" links, i.e. the ones with the double bracket syntax (
[[link]]), can not only be used to link to pages on this wiki, but also to pages on certain other wikis – so-called interwiki links. You can see all interwiki targets that are available on this wiki on Special:Interwiki, and they can be used like[[<interwiki>:<link target page>]](e.g.[[wikipedia:Yanny or Laurel]]: wikipedia:Yanny or Laurel;[[wikipedia:Yanny or Laurel|Yanny or Laurel]]: Yanny or Laurel). Beware when doing this with the interwikis marked as "interlanguage" prefixes (here these are usually just called "interwiki links" as well), they need a colon in front (e.g.[[:fr:Arbre]]: fr:Arbre;[[:fr:Arbre|French version of the Trees page]]: French version of the Trees page). Otherwise they add that link to the "In other languages" section in the sidebar on the left (file and category links similarly require a colon, e.g.[[:File:Tree.png]]to produce a plain File:Tree.png link). - About Special:Diff: It asks for at least one revision ID. Every revision of every page on the wiki has a unique numerical identifier. If you go to the revision history of a page (e.g. https://terraria.wiki.gg/wiki/Lihzahrd?action=history), you can see all revisions of that page, and if you click on the date of a revision (e.g. 14:59, 20 January 2021 for my edit on the Lihzahrd page, or something similar according to your timezone and date format settings) and then look at the URL (e.g.
https://terraria.gamepedia.com/Lihzahrd?oldid=1102348), you can see the ID of that revision. To get the ID of the most recent revision of a page (i.e. the version that is currently visible for everyone), you can also simply click "Permanent link" in the sidebar. Now these revision IDs can be fed to pages like Special:Diff or Special:Permalink. You can embed a link to a diff via[[Special:Diff/<revision ID of the newer version of the diff>]](e.g.[[Special:Diff/1102348]]: Special:Diff/1102348) or[[Special:Diff/<older revision ID>/<newer revision ID>]](e.g.[[Special:Diff/1072640/1004485|diff across 13 edits]]: diff across 13 edits). Mummy hand glitch
I couldn't reproduce any glitched hand from the full mummy set in 1.2, not sure where this came from, but I saw you left it there so I was wondering if you had any confirmation or know who put the request in, if not, we could just remove it or look into it more.
EDIT: RoverdriveX found what was glitched.
