The Waffle's Iron being used against Target Dummies.

The Waffle's Iron is a Hardmode sword that shoots a waffle projectile once per swing, which is significantly affected by gravity. The frying pan itself also has a 1/3 (33.33%) chance to inflict the Hellfire debuff upon contact for 5 seconds. The Waffle's Iron is always dropped by Mechdusa, a boss exclusive to Zenith worlds.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

Trivia

  • The name and tooltip of the Waffle's Iron are a reference to YouTuber WaffleTime.
    • According to WaffleTime, Redigit approached him about adding his own item to the game. As thanks, he let Redigit and Cenx dictate a playthrough each. Redigit requested he play the Get fixed boi seed in Master Mode on Mediumcore.[1]
    • The reason of the item being dropped by Mechdusa may be because WaffleTime had previously made tutorials on how to defeat the mechanical bosses, which Mechdusa is made of.
