The Ankh Shield is a Hardmode accessory which grants immunity to knockback and all of the following debuffs:
It is crafted at a Tinkerer's Workshop by combining the Obsidian Shield and the Ankh Charm.
Although it is not necessary for game progression, it can be very useful. This guide is a tutorial for gathering all the individual items used to craft the accessory.
Crafting tree
In the table below, the top rows contain items you are likely to acquire first, and items below them are the result of crafting them. An item with no other item directly above it is acquired from the environment or from an enemy drop.

General Tips
Due to the amount of farming required to obtain the Ankh Charm, it's recommended to use Water Candles and Battle Potions to increase enemy spawn rates. It's also good to farm during Blood Moons, since enemy spawn rates will increase significantly as well. Note that the Blood Moon's spawn rate increase only apply to the Surface layer.
It's also a good idea to find and build a good farming spot. For Underground enemies, a wide and open section of a cave can be used. It can also be good to build a 168×94 rectangle in order to concentrate all spawns in one area.
With the use of Lava, Traps and/or Minions it's very simple to make an AFK farm for the items.
Some of the components can be obtained before Hardmode: The Obsidian Shield, Bezoar and Nazar. If the Aether biome is located, then one can also obtain an Adhesive Bandage and Megaphone by Shimmering a second Bezoar and Nazar, respectively.
In general, every base immunity accessory can be Shimmered to get the other accessory it pairs with. This means that it may be a good idea to focus on obtaining a second copy of a common accessory rather than its paired accessory, due to tougher or rarer enemies/environments, or low drop chances. For example, enemies that drop Nazars are much rarer than Pixies, which drop Megaphones.
Ankh Shield
Ankh Charm
In order for the player to craft the Ankh Shield they need to get the Ankh Charm and Obsidian Shield, this section will go over the Ankh Charm Ingredients.
Armor Bracing
Armor Polish
The Armor Polish prevents the Broken Armor debuff. It is a 1% / 2% drop from Armored Skeletons and Blue Armored Bones.
If farming for Armored Skeletons in a Cavern, then the Trifold Map may also be obtained from Giant Bats. While Blue Armored Bones spawn more commonly, they require the player to be in the Dungeon and for Plantera to be defeated.
Vitamins
The Vitamins prevent the Weak debuff. It is a 1% / 2% drop from Corruptors and Floaty Grosses.
Farming in a Corruption biome is recommended, since the Corrupt Slimes and, if in a Desert, Dark Mummies will also drop the Blindfold and Megaphone. Furthermore, Corruptors spawn more frequently than Floaty Grosses, which lead to more efficiency.
Medicated Bandage
Bezoar
The Bezoar prevents the Poisoned debuff. is a 1% / 2% drop from Toxic Sludge, Hornets and Moss Hornets.
It's better to farm for it in pre-Hardmode, due to the high spawn rate of Hornets and the lack of the stronger enemies found in Hardmode.
Adhesive Bandage
The Adhesive Bandage prevents the Bleeding debuff. It is a 1% / 2% drop from Werewolves, Angler Fish and, once Plantera has been defeated, Rusty Armored Bones.
During a Full Moon, a significant amount of Werewolves spawn, making it easier to obtain the item.
The Plan
Fast Clock
The Fast Clock prevents the Slow debuff. It is a 1% / 2% drop from regular Mummies, Wraiths and Pixies.
Pixies appear in a Hallow biome, Wraiths can be found at night or after smashing an Altar, whilst Mummies appear in a normal Hardmode Desert.
Trifold Map
The Trifold Map prevents the Confused. It is a 1% / 2% drop from Clowns, Light Mummies and Giant Bats. Trying to look for Clowns is not recommended, as they are rare enemies that only spawn during a Hardmode Blood Moon. Light Mummies are found in a Hallowed Desert, while Giant Bats appear in the Cavern layer during Hardmode.
Countercurse Mantra
Nazar
The Nazar prevents the Cursed debuff. It is a 1% / 2% drop from Cursed Skulls, Cursed Hammers, Crimson Axes, Enchanted Swords, and (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) Giant Cursed Skulls.
Due to Cursed Hammers, Crimson Axes, and Enchanted Swords being rare, it's much easier to obtain the item from Cursed Skulls or Giant Cursed Skulls in the Dungeon. Due to the increased variety and difficulty enemies in the hardmode Dungeon, it is faster to farm for it before defeating Plantera.
Megaphone
The Megaphone prevents the Silenced debuff. It is a 1% / 2% drop from Pixies, Green Jellyfish, Dark Mummies and Blood Mummies.
Infecting a Desert with the Corruption or Crimson will make obtaining the Megaphone, Vitamins and the Blindfold easier.
Blindfold(Old-gen console and 3DS versions) / Reflective Shades(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions)
Blindfold
The Blindfold prevents the Darkness debuff. It is a 1% / 2% drop from Corrupt Slimes, Slimelings, Crimslimes, Dark Mummies, and Blood Mummies. Dark Mummies can be found in Corrupt Deserts and Blood Mummies can be found in Crimson Deserts.
For efficient Blindfold Farming, corrupting a Surface Desert will spawn both enemies: Corrupt Slimes and Dark Mummies. Corrupt Slimes split into 3 Slimelings when killed, and all yield a 1% / 2% chance of dropping a Blindfold, effectively increasing efficiency by 4-fold.
A similar strategy can be used in a Crimson world due to the presence of Crimslimes and Blood Mummies, however Crimslimes will not split resulting in a lower chance of obtaining a Blindfold, and Blood Mummies only exist on Desktop version, Console version, and Mobile version.
If one is in a Crimson world and are farming the Mummies for the Blindfold, it is not recommended to farm during a Sandstorm as this will severely decrease the chance of getting Dark/Blood Mummies to spawn.
Pocket Mirror(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions)
The Pocket Mirror prevents the Stoned(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) debuff. It is a 2.5% / 5% drop from Medusa. Medusa is found in the Marble Caves once Hardmode is activated.
It is worth mentioning that only one Medusa can be active at a time, so AFK farms will be less efficient.
Obsidian Shield
The Obsidian Shield is the other ingredient for the Ankh Shield, this section will go over the Obsidian Shield ingredients.
Cobalt Shield
The Cobalt Shield prevents Knockback. It is found in the locked chests in the Dungeon. By the time the player gets the Nazar they should already have the Cobalt Shield.
Obsidian Skull
The Obsidian Skull prevents the Burning debuff. It is crafted using 20 obsidian at a Furnace.
