Fishing guide
Hey, I'm just letting you know that the guide you keep creating is being deleted because you keep leaving it in an unfinished state that strongly resembles a watered-down version of the main Fishing page. Guides can't just be the information on an existing page rearranged into a tutorial format or interlaced with personal suggestions or observations; rather, for a guide to be successful, it's necessary that it provide useful, in-depth information that cannot be reasonably added to the main page.
Given the groundwork you've laid, it's difficult to see what new information this guide could add. The mechanics of bait power, the effects of fishing gear and the items that can be caught are explained fairly well on the Fishing page as it is, and there's not a lot else to be said about fishing as a whole. The aim of your guide is seemingly to lay out a narrative progression for fishing, but the order in which one's fishing ability evolves is obvious where it's not variable per a player's experience- it's clear that a player will generally have an easier time making a wooden pole than an iron one, and the majority of the angler's rewards are handed out at random. Information regarding crafting recipes is laid out in tables on the main pages because it's easier to parse than having it written out progressively in paragraph form, and this isn't helped by the fact that the main distinction between poles is the singular Fishing Power stat, which doesn't require a lot of textual detail.
If your guide isn't finished, please try to have a rough draft ready instead of pushing it forward in an incomplete state. It may actually be best to set out an outline or proposal of a guide's intended direction before writing it, so more experienced editors can determine whether it'll make it before significant work goes into writing it- while "I put a lot of work into it" may be a justification I can relate to, it's not defense enough to salvage a page that's on the chopping block.
