Gem Bunnies
- Internal Item ID: 4838–4844 (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions)
Gem Bunnies are harmless critters that can only spawn in the cavern layer, and have a higher spawn chance during rain.[1]
Gem Bunnies have only 5 health and no defense, and can be damaged by other enemies and players.
Gem Bunnies can be caught with any Bug Net to be carried around in the inventory and released later, or crafted into animated decorative furniture (Gem Bunny Cages). Once crafted, the Gem Bunnies cannot be released again, unless the furniture item is de-crafted via Shimmer(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions).

Notes
- Although representing different gem types, they all sell for 10 SC.
- During Parties, most Gem Bunnies will be replaced by the party variant of normal Bunnies.
Tips
- The best way to spawn any Gem Bunny is to make a town in the cavern layer. Same as other critters, they will spawn more frequently around NPCs.
Trivia
- The Bestiary entry for Gem Bunnies: "These colorful rabbits made their way so deep, their reaction to magicked gems resulted in a coveted sparkling appearance."
