Capitalization error

Drop Chance

Is the 2% drop chance confirmed for certain? I have been farming the armored skeletons and after 350 in expert world I still have not managed a single armor polish. I know that RNG does not guarantee 1 every 50, but still, I have technically missed out on 7 of them from a purely statistics point of view. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.234.45.128 at 16:37, 29 May 2018 (UTC)

All of the values are taken from the source code (in this case, the line is if (Main.rand.Next(100) == 0 || Main.expertMode && Main.rand.Next(100) == 0)), so unfortunately you're probably having bad luck. I always find it easier to get Armor Polish in the Dungeon due to high spawn rates there, though, so you might find better luck there if you haven't tried already. 4e696e6a6f795844 (talk) 20:12, 29 May 2018 (UTC)

drop rate

are you sure that it's 1% and not less? i could get items with the same (and even less) drop rate without too much problems. this item however is annoying. Having now killed over 300 Armored Skeletons without a drop, I would not be at all surprised if there was some non-obvious bug or condition interfering with the drop. ETA: That's a 5% chance: 1-(0.99^300). --MentalMouse42 (talk) 01:24, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
