Name

Where in-game are these named? Just wondering about the whole Chaos Ball/Shadow Orb thing. --FungusTrooper 12:31, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

Purpose

Okay, so we know that destroying these can summon a meteor, and also the Eater of Worlds. We know that an Eater is spawned for every 3 orbs that are smashed. My question is what exactly do the other two do: The first I smashed gave the Chills message, but nothing seemed to happen. The second, smashed about 3 minutes after the first, relayed the Screams message, and immediately after it displayed the Meteorite message too. They do exactly that - trigger meteor fall and give a message. "Trigger" means that meteor will fall, but not always instantly. --Barhandar 13:22, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

Yes, but how many balls do what, exactly? Did the first ball trigger the meteor, or the second? If the third has a solid purpose, I'm thinking the first 2 do too, but not sure which is which. --FungusTrooper 13:27, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

Definition

Not really sure if this should be listed under monsters, since its actually only a projectile, not an enemy. --Bow Artist3 16:21, 22 May 2011 (UTC)

It should not be merged with Goblin Sorcerer for the same reason that Burning Sphere shouldn't be merged with Fire Imp and Servant Of Cthulhu should not be merged with Eye Of Cthulhu. Nixitur 18:17, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

Useful page?

This seems to be the only enemy projectile that has its own page. I feel like there's not a lot about its properties that can't be said on the pages for the enemies that use it, but as a user I'm still interested in this kind of information. I think a single page on enemy projectiles could be useful, but I'm recommending that this one be deleted. Anyone have any opinions? Gearzein (talk) 21:20, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
