Talk:Companion Cube
Being skeptical of some of the claims made regarding the Companion Cube, I am testing to see if it indeed does all those things listed on the page. I can verify that the Companion Cube:
- Emits a sound very similar to the Lunatic Cultist death sound when in Lava
- Emits a sound very similar to the Moon Lord death sound after about 2 minutes in Lava (but not always).
I have yet to hear the Whoopie Cushion sound, or test the "fake" damage it inflicts on its owner. --Ferretwings (talk) 04:22, 12 June 2016 (UTC)
- I can hear the Whoopie Cushion sound quite clearly in single player, I haven't heard it in multiplayer.
- The Cube will only stab you (for 1 damage) in the dark; you'll need to de-activate your light pet by clicking the icon to turn it off. --Ferretwings (talk) 04:34, 23 June 2016 (UTC)

The Companion Cube can stab you while the screen is centered on a golf ball.
I've noticed that the Companion Cube can stab you while the screen is centered on a golf ball, because I've been playing golf and when I hit it I get damaged even though there are no enemies in sight. 56KPK (talk) 23:39, 10 October 2020 (UTC)
