"Rarely, the Flying Snake will drop a Mechanical Skull instead of a Lizard Egg." - I don't think this is a bug, or even an anomaly, I'm pretty sure this is due to the fact that prior to beating each of the 3 hardmode bosses, every enemy has a chance to drop the appropriate spawning item. This would only be a bug if the Snake dropped the Skull AFTER the defeat of Prime. Gonna remove the bug for now unless someone can prove the Skull drops post-Prime. 86.28.186.239 10:54, 2 November 2013 (UTC)

Missleading Spawn Requirements

The description implies the flying snakes will spawn when no lihzahrd bricks are present. This is confusing skyblock map players. I'm probably not translating the source code 100% accurately, but it seems to state "If spawn surface is lihzahrd brick and the player is in front of natural lihzahrd wall, spawn 3/4 of mobs as lihzahrds, and the other 1/4 as snakes."

In practice, the only exception I've seen to this rule is that gold chest mimics also like to spawn under these conditions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Freedbot (talk • contribs) at 12:19, 10 November 2021 (UTC)
