Talk:Honey (buff)

it is absolutely unforgivable that this page doesnt list the rate of the health regeneration. from now on, i will boycott this whole page and not read it anymore until someone does something about it. either reverse engineer the whole code, harass the developper until he speaks, or threaten to suicide your avatar by jumping in lava, i dont wann know how you obtain it, but do it.

It's actually a little more complicated than just "+5hp/sec" or something. Honey actually does just increase both the player's speed and scale of regeneration- based on what you're doing and what other regen stuff you have on, it varies. It apparently increases (hold on here) the rate at which the rate of regeneration increases over time when the player is standing still, as well as increasing the rate at which that regeneration occurs normally. It's hard to put a solid number on it.
I might just be reading the code wrong, but that's what I got out of it. Gearzein (talk) 18:54, 7 March 2015 (UTC)
thanks. still, a question springs to mind... with what you say: is it multiplicative with other sources of regen, so, to express it differently, does it potentialize other sources?
well, to be practical:what i understand, is it will be more potent the more regen you already have. so its more useful if you have campfire and heart lamp, and even more if you add abnd of regen, and even more with a potion and so on...
which makes it stays potent through your adventures, or rather scale with your level, sorta. (even if i hate level scaling in general in videogames, so it pains me to say this word, even outside of its more horrible meaning)
