Weapons

Do we want a page that lists weapons that emit light (while "swinging" or in flight)? Is this an acceptable page? -- Rhombus (TC) 18:35, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

Don't see any problem with having that here. [[iLiaWneK|talk|contributions]] 18:58, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

Sorting

The sort by brightness doesn't seem to work...any idea why? 71.87.116.224 10:40, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

It seems that the 'colspan="2"' is causing this. (If you want to sort on something you should press on the sort button from the column on the right.) I guess that eighter a change in the 'terraria sortable' template is needed or that we need to use the {{item link}} template. --Icke 15:10, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

Moonglow missing

Why is Blinkroot and Jungle Spores listed but not Moonglow? 71.87.116.224 14:50, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

World size

Allready edited it in the notes, and dont know where else to put it, but using any other lighting mode then retro will cut of 17 blocks on each side of the map. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Faya4061 (talk • contribs) at 01:41, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

Colored torches

They have different level of brighteness. Depending on the light mode, blue and green have the lowest, and white has the brightest. The table needs to be adjusted — Preceding unsigned comment added by EstebanLB (talkcontribs) at 16:27, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

research tile distance?

instead of the precentage brightness. because a chandeleer will be further than a plain torch. why? is it because light calculation starts at the edge or a source item or center? "brightness" gives a rough clue but doesn't tell exact information. 98.134.33.113 01:56, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

It would be useful both, brightness and distance, for the forniture lights. Because a lamp seems to be dimmer than a tiki torch and a chandelier brighter. But there is no indication of the brightness of the lamps Skz5k2 (talk) 00:03, 6 January 2017 (UTC)

Gear

Why is there nothing on gear? 216.161.238.11 01:39, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

Star in a Bottle

I tried adding Star in a Bottle, but the site said that the article had been deleted, so I didn't want to recreate it and risk a banning or something. Anyone know what's up with this? 67.10.194.56 18:31, 2 October 2013 (UTC)

missing

page is missing plantera's bulb, and the new spirit found in the hardmode dungeon. it might also be useful to add monsters which generate light, such as jellyfish, skeleton miner, pixies, some of the hallowed monsters. 77.173.25.253 11:58, 19 October 2013 (UTC)

I support this idea. Of course, how do we start with this? Learner0 (talk) 03:25, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

The Crimtane ore needs to be added to the list of blocks that generate light. It has all of the same properties as Demonite Ore aside from color and what it's crafted in to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.189.65.133 at 16:56, 15 February 2014 (UTC)

Heart Lantern

Could this be added somehow? 24.18.137.60 3:25, 12 December 2013 (UTC)

Missing and Incorrect Content

The Lihzahrd Altar and Rainbow Brick do not provide light in any way: they simply glow in the dark. It's like saying ghost wings light up the nearby area. Can we have this changed? Also, lavafall block and wall are missing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.58.169.42 at 06:29, 17 July 2014 (UTC)

Crystals -- should they go to the "Growable" section?

They're currently in Furniture, but they are very farmable, and some of the other growables can also be placed. --MentalMouse42 (talk) 23:40, 5 January 2018 (UTC)

Missing info?

I found a discussion of this wiki page that was refering to specific light levels from each of the light sources, information that's now gone from this page.

Is there a solid argument why this wiki should say that lava is brighter then a lhizard altar, but not that a diamond torch is brighter then an ichor flame? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.223.92.80 at 21:35, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

In my opinion, "brightness" should just be replaced with light color similar to the Torches page. Problem is finding someone who is willing to do all that work and source code diving ;) --Eraloiz (talk) 07:38, 12 July 2021 (UTC)

missing Magiluminescene

I used this a lot to travel through caverns, it was my number 1 light source and it granted a speed boost. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.19.41.86 at 14:23, 22 December 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing this out -- another editor has now added that item to the page. :) --PuzzledKino (talk) 22:48, 22 December 2021 (UTC)
