Depth incorrect

The depth measurements are incorrect. I was murdered last night by three Man Eaters, at a depth of about 250' below level. I am positive they were Man Eaters and not Snatchers; they had brown stems and dropped vines. Has the level of the Underground Jungle been raised in 1.0.6.1? I see Hornets and Man Eaters and Piranhas, oh my. (Still don't have any Jungle Spores, though) --Einstein9073 21:15, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

I think the Wiki should clarify Man Eaters do spawn well above 700 blocks deep but they only appear to drop vines at the rock level (grey rocky background, not brown or brown rocky backgrounds). Anonymous, 17:30, 8 January 2012 (UTC)

It is not verified what AI the Man Eater and Snatcher are but it might be Plant AI. --Special:Contributions/212.178.213.130 17 June 2011

Obsolete information about a bug in the Notes section

"Man Eaters and Hornets will always drop Ancient Cobalt Helmets with Ancient Cobalt Leggings due to the way that the drops are coded. This effectively doubles the intended drop chance of the Leggings."
Seems like this was fixed in 1.2.3, despite changelog mentioning different pieces. Hornets page had the same note, and note was eventually removed. I tried to remove this note(with the section) myself but got stopped by abuse filter: section removal. 86.115.19.146 13:28, 7 October 2017 (UTC)
