Can anyone else confirm them spawning at borders between hallow and regular biome?

I built a AFK farm with 75 blocks hallow left and right and didnt get a spawn, after i changed it to 69 hallow, 3 lihzahrd, 11 normal i farmed ~600 Rainbow block during one rain period.

Proably it spawns during blizzard in Hallowed Snow biome. Also that slime GIF kills my eyes. 88.81.37.229 14:26, 16 February 2019 (UTC)

A setup that I used to spawn rainbow slimes is no longer spawning them; did they change the spawn conditions for 1.4? Is anyone else seeing any differences in their spawning?
