Can anybody check to see if the Cross Necklace and Star Veil stack to give a longer period of invincibility? It'd be a good note for the page, also I'm curios. :P Chaosvii7 (talk) 18:39, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

Invincibility time when taking 1 damage

"The player's invincibility period is doubled when taking 1 damage (1/3 second by default and 2/3 second with Cross Necklace or Star Veil equipped)." Erm... wouldn't a doubling mean that it would be 4/3 second by default and 8/3 second with the necklace? Is this supposed to say halved, or does it mean that the speed at which the invincibility period ends is double as fast? Or have I misunderstood math again 🤔 I'm not sure which way it actually goes, whether the wording is wrong or the times listed are incorrect. I see in the page history that this once said "cut in half" and then was changed to "doubled", which seems to have changed the meaning. If someone could verify which it is that would be great.

Sidenote while I'm here, I also see in the history that at one point the improper fractions were changed, and then later were changed back. I think I would agree with the person that changed them; "1 1/3" is more readable than "4/3". Zichqec (talk) 00:41, 23 July 2023 (UTC)

The invincibility frame granted when taking 1 damage is 1/3 s, and "doubled" here means 1/3 × 2 = 2/3. See invincibility frame#Invincibility frame length. BadPiggy1024 (talk) 02:31, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
