How I write edit summaries
Label | Definition |
---|---|
notes + | Added one line to the 'Notes' section |
notes ++ | Added more than one lines to the 'Notes' section |
tips + | Added one line to the 'Tips' section |
tips ++ | Added more than one lines to the 'Tips' section |
trivia + | Added one line to the 'Trivia' section |
trivia ++ | Added more than one lines to the 'Trivia' section |
updated | Updated points in the article to match that of the current version |
minor | Extremely minor edits (such as adding a period at the end of a sentence) |
spag | Fixed issues relating to SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar) |
ce | Copy-edit (sometimes used as a more major minor, for wiki formatting and things) |
reword | Putting words around to improve readability and dispatch ambiguity |
mirror | Mirrored one or more parts of a similar article to keep things consistent |
If none of those apply, the summary will be either left blank or be given a description of the changes (note: These only apply to minor edits (which are approximately 99.5% of my edits that are not page creations)! Major edits will always be given a description.
If there are multiple edits to multiple one of those cases, the labels are seperated via commas
