She said: 'I see these home whitening kits everywhere. Be really careful as some contain mild acids and abrasives which can actually wear down your enamel long-term.'
Drawing the video to a close, Surina focused on charcoal toothpaste - which promises to remove stains and whiten teeth.
She claimed: '[They] contain abrasive particles to remove surface stains but daily use of this can cause your enamel to thin.'
The video has amassed over 52,000 'likes' in the past week - and viewers were grateful for the expert guidance.
