This article is about the debuff that decreases player stats. For the modifier, see Modifiers § Universal.

Weak is a debuff which causes multiple ability penalties. Equipping Vitamins or anything derived from it will make the player immune to this debuff.

Weak causes the following effects:

• -4 defense
• -5.1% melee damage
• -5.1% melee attack speed
• -10% movement speed

  • Can now be inflicted by the Brain of Cthulhu and its Creeper minions in Expert mode for 18.75 to 37.5 seconds at a 1/8 and 1/24 chance, respectively.
  • Can now be inflicted by the Eater of Worlds in Expert mode for 10 minutes at a 1 in 20 (5%) chance.
  • Now has a 1 in 6 (16.67%) chance of being inflicted each second by the new Feral Bite debuff, which is inflicted by Bats in Expert Mode.
  • Now lasts for twice as long in Expert mode.
