Pets (Pets/id)

Not to be confused with Town pet, NPC hewan yang dapat diperoleh via Zoologist.

Peliharaan adalah makhluk yang terus mengikuti pemain. Mereka tidak dapat dilukai dan tidak memiliki durasi tetap. Ketika dipanggil, mereka memberikan pemain sebuah buff dengan nama yang sama seperti peliharaan tersebut. Sebuah peliharaan akan mengikuti pemain sampai mereka mati, memanggil sebuah peliharaan yang berbeda, meninggalkan dunia, atau menghilangkan buff-nya. Di  Versi Desktop,  Versi Konsol, dan  Versi Mobile, pet yang digunakan dapat terlihat di menu pemilihan karakter dengan karakter pemain.

Kebanyakan peliharaan murni kosmetik, tetapi beberapa pet eksklusif  Konsol generasi lama dan 3DS dapat memberikan damage ke musuh (walaupun sedikit). Beberapa peliharaan memancarkan sejumlah kecil cahaya, tetapi di  Versi Desktop,  Versi Konsol, dan  Versi Mobile, ada Light Pets/id spesial yang mempunyai slot-nya sendiri.

Secara total, ada 59 peliharaan. Ada 48 di  Versi Desktop,  Versi Konsol, dan  Versi Mobile, 26 di tidak ada versi, 27 di  Versi konsol generasi lama, dan 31 di Versi Nintendo 3DS.

Ada juga 10 light pet di  Versi Desktop,  Versi Konsol, dan  Versi Mobile, 3 di antaranya adalah eksklusif master, 7 di tidak ada versi, dan 4 di  Versi konsol generasi lama dan Versi Nintendo 3DS.

Memanggil dan menghilangkan

Peliharaan dipanggil secara manual dengan meletakkan itemnya di hotbar dan menggunakannya atau (Versi Desktop, Konsol dan Mobile) dengan memakainya. Di  Desktop,  Konsol,  Konsol generasi lama, dan  Mobile, pet dapat dihilangkan dengan menekan tombol ⚷ Buka / Aktifkan di ikon buff-nya atau (Versi Desktop, Konsol dan Mobile) dengan mematikan visibilitas.

Memakai Pelharaan

  

Konten eksklusif Desktop/Konsol/Mobile: Informasi bagian ini hanya berlaku untuk Terraria versi Desktop, Konsol, dan Mobile.

Inventory mempunyai dua slot khusus, memungkinkan tindakan yang lebih kompleks: Satu slot untuk pet "biasa", yang lainnya untuk light pets. Light pet bertindak seperti pet biasa, tetapi memancarkan cahaya dengan lebih konsisten di sekitar pemain. Setiap saat, pemain dapat memiliki paling banyak satu peliharaan dari setiap jenis yang aktif.

• Tiap slot peliharaan memiliki slot pewarnanya, yang dapat digunakan untuk mewarnai peliharaannya. Beberapa pewarna "advanced" dapat membuat peliharaan tertentu terlihat aneh, atau bahkan membuat mereka tidak terlihat. Jika mereka biasanya memancarkan cahaya, cahayanya tidak akan terpengaruh oleh pewarna.
• Tiap slot peliharaan juga mempunyai sebuah ikon "mata", yang dapat diklik untuk "menyembunyikan" peliharaan, dan diklik lagi untuk "memperlihatkannya".
  • Tidak seperti ikon yang mirip untuk menyembunyikan aksesoris, ikon mata akan menghilangkan dan memanggil ulang peliharaannya, tak hanya menyembunyikan dan menunjukkannya.
  • Jika sebuah item pemanggil diletakkan di sebuah slot yang diatur ke "tersembunyi", peliharaannya tidak akan muncul sebelum slotnya di diaktifkan kembali ke "terlihat".
• Menyingkirkan sebuah item peliharaan dari slotnya tidak akan menghilangkan peliharaannya, tetapi meletakkan item peliharaan lainnya ke slot tersebut akan menggantikan peliharaan tersebut.
• Kedua jenis peliharaan juga dapat dipanggil dengan menggunakan itemnya dari hotbar, tetapi hanya jika slot yang item tersebut dapat masuk sedang kosong atau tersembunyi.
• Sebuah peliharaan di sebuah slot peliharaan akan secara otomatis dipanggil tiap kali pemain respawn.

Light Pet

Light Pet karakter sekunder yang dipanggil yang mengapung di samping pemain untuk memberikan sebuah sumber cahaya yang berjalan. Mereka tidak menggunakan mana maupun biaya lainnya, dan akan tetap tanpa batas waktu sampai pemain menghilangkan buff-nya, memanggil sebuah light pet pengganti atau mati. Hanya satu light pet dapat ada sekaligus. Light pet memiliki slotnya sendiri di inventory di bagian perlengkapan pemain di  Versi Desktop,  Versi Konsol, dan  Versi Mobile bersama dengan slot untuk pewarna.

Tip

• Beberapa peliharaan, seperti Cursed Sapling/id dan Bayi Trufel, memancarkan cahaya untuk pemain yang agak berguna saat menjelajah gua atau di daerah gelap.
• Chester merupakan sat-satunya peliharaan yang memiliki keguanaan praktis (selain dari beberapa peliharaan memberikan sedikit cahaya). Dia memberikan akses kepada celengan pemain.

Trivia

• Peliharaan sebenarnya adalah sebuah proyektil tahan lama yang mengikuti pemain.
• Pet Drone, yang dipanggil dengan Mysterious Package (Paket Misterius), diperkenalkan hanya pada versi Amazon, tetapi tidak dapat diperoleh dan kemudian dihapus.
