Fishotron catch altitude

Quest ID column not needed?

Seems like it was added a while back with edit summary "viewing a map's metadata with something like TerraMap (view>properties) reveals the AnglerQuest value, which may be useful for, for instance, knowing where *not* to fish before acquiring the angler. I'll add the IDs as I encounter them." Column seem empty at the moment, no idea if it was ever populated. From what I see in the code, Main.anglerQuest is assigned one of the values from anglerQuestItemNetIDs[] which seems to be just a list of quest fish item ids. 88.193.92.203 16:10, 28 May 2017 (UTC)

Sure enough, it doesn't look like it's needed. I can see where the editor was coming from, but the "internal item ID" parameter already does the same thing that the column would. – KM100 ^(talk) 16:17, 28 May 2017 (UTC)

Slime fish

Page is broken

Fallen Starfish

From testing, it seems impossible to catch the Fallen Starfish in any biome outside sky/space layer. If that is what the table it trying to say (but not communicating properly), can someone verify this and the fact that it's the only quest fish to follow this logic? You're right, it can only be caught in the Forest and Ocean biomes. Altitude-wise, it can be caught anywhere above 0 feet, though (which includes the surface, not just sky/space). The table incorrectly stated "Forest/Any" in the biome column, so I fixed that. Thanks for noting! --Rye Greenwood (talk) 13:18, 14 November 2021 (UTC)

Fishotron

Is it possible to catch the Fishotron outside Dungeon? I am not a fishing expert so I need someone to help:) Carenstridberg (talk) 00:30, 3 January 2022 (UTC)

The Fishotron can be caught in the forest biome, not in the dungeon biome. In fact, you can catch if before defeating Skeletron (if you get the quest for it), meaning before you have access to dungeon-related fishing-loot. Johanniklas (talk) 11:11, 6 October 2022 (UTC)
