Mother 2 reference?

Is this supposed to be a reference to the photographer's phrase of "Fuzzy pickles"? That's hardly a reference, since the carrot is fuzzy due to being rabbit-like. There's also the Carrot Key, but that's also barely related. I'm a huge fan, but it's been a while since I played. Is there another reference to Mother 2/Earthbound? Personally I'm guessing it's simply referencing how bunnies are fuzzy and like carrots. People (myself included) have a tendency to see connections between things even though it's not always the case, so if you think "fuzzy pickles" is a poor reference then I'd say that's a good indicator of it not being a reference. If Terraria features any references of your interest I do not know, but perhaps you can find something on the references page or by searching in this wiki.
