Outside the Jungle
I've found this enemy outside of the dungeon a few times.
Both Sides?
I've only found the Goblin Scout on the left side of the world, never on the right. Has anyone observed similar behavior? Cromage 20:04, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
- I've seen him on both sides. He only has a chance to spawn in places where slimes spawn though. So he won't show up in a desert or corruption area. --GauHelldragon 21:51, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

Adventures of Link
does the goblin scout use link's sprite from adventures of link: http://s.pro-gmedia.com/videogamer/media/images/pub/large/adventure_of_link_1987.jpg i can't help but notice a good number of similarities (the hair and hat seem to be fused to one object, the boots seem to have been lowered to sandals but the sprites seem remarkably similar. is this just me?
oldgenconsole version
on the page it shows that there is no history about the goblin scout on oldgenconsole version. i know it exists on that version, but there's no history? i don't know how to add that stuff so I cant add it.
Celebration Seed spawning
It seems like the Goblin Scout spawn mechanics are switched on the celebration seed thanks to the changed player spawn location. So instead of spawning only in the far portions of the world, they spawn everywhere except the far corners. Anyone want to confirm this in code?
Farming Goblin Scouts
You can build an 168 blocks long arena at least 49 blocks above the ocean surface, with a typical lava trap in the middle. By using a battle potion, water candle and a gnome, you will get between 15-20 Tattered Cloths. If you do this in hardmode, you should also get 2-5 pirate maps. I ran some tests and always got the same results. If you try to do it in a Hallow Biome no goblin scouts will spawn. K241 (talk) 15:53, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
