We okay with this title? I really don't like "snow biome." --Theothersteve7 20:47, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- If you get Redigit to agree, yes. Otherwise "Snow Biome" fits more due to it having all things Forest does, but with snow instead of grass/dirt and different tree graphics. Oh, and tundra refers to frozen wasteland with creeping plants, boreal (read - snowy) forest is taiga. --Barhandar 20:51, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not sure. For underground cabins we went with what they were called in the update changelog. Redigit calls it a snow biome. --Lunboks 20:55, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- Ugh. Yeah, but taiga implies coniferous forests and wild lumberjacks. Tundra is a frequently abused word. Really, what we're seeing is just places that are randomly temperate winter. I don't know, I just don't like the inconsistency. That's like calling the desert the "sand biome" and the jungle the "mud biome." --Theothersteve7 21:01, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- Ok, why is it Tundra again? Redigit said it's called Snow Biome so we are calling it snow biome. This isn't about how you like the name or not. --Moxxy 23:48, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- Really, what we're seeing is just places that are randomly temperate winter. -- Then why champion the incorrect "toundra" instead of something accurate, simple and straightforward such as winter biome? Though "snow biome" should stay anyway. --Gez 00:12, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
- Winter is not a biome, it is a season. Snow is not a biome, it is a pattern of weather. Tundra is one of the most widely recognized biome types. Still, it's not like "Dungeon" is technically a biome. If this is what the consensus agrees on, it should stay. --Theothersteve7 03:15, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
- It will be winter when it will be dynamically generated and dynamically wiped out, until that it has not very much differences from the meteorite biome, for example.

How does my screenshot look?--Linkraft 21:03, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- Looks great. Better than most of the biome screenshots, honestly. Some of them could definitely be improved. --Theothersteve7 21:12, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- By the way, where do I submit a bug, because I have just found two bugs involving the Tundra biome and it's relationship with snow blocks...--Linkraft 21:26, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- Like this, on the appropriate page: {{bug|This is what the bug is.}} --Theothersteve7 21:29, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- The bug is up on the Tundra page.--Linkraft 21:37, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
- Sounds like the Snow Balla created an artificial tundra area. That implies that the threshold for creating a tundra is quite low for some reason. You might try placing snow blocks on your own and seeing how many it takes. --Theothersteve7 21:40, 15 December 2011 (UTC)
