I don't see why it'd decrease it, would make it a rather poor item in that case. "allows 50% health regeneration" sounds like neither though - I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to regeneration mechanics in Terraria, but regeneration is apparently (at least according to the info on Band of Regeneration) halted when the player moves or is attacked. What this ring seemingly does is allowing regeneration to not fully halt, instead letting it continue at 50% rate when it normally should stay still. Considering that this would yield more life than when it's unequipped, I guess one could say it does "increase" the regeneration, though. NoseOfCthulhu (talk) 22:48, 11 March 2014 (UTC)

Does the Valentine Ring's healing effect stack with Crimson Armor?

Probably, the crimson armor just increases health regen while the ring lets the regen never stop. Using both should increase your now-permanent health regeneration (as opposed to only regenerating out of combat) - Forstrei

My 3DS version's tooltip is now displaying correctly. Was this due to an update, or did the system just finally find the filepath? Either way, the information on the main page needs to be updated - Forstrei

Does the Valentine's Ring effect stack with Band of Regeneration? It's a bit difficult to test it on the mobile personally, I'm more used to console and pc versions. DoriSai (talk) 16:51, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
