Template:Redirect proposal

It has been suggested that this page be redirected to an unspecified page and have its information cleared. ^[discuss]

Note: Any user is allowed to erase a page and make it a redirect. However, this template is used for pages where it is debatable whether the content should be erased. It can also be used if excessive clearing is required and an administrator must delete it and recreate it.

Put this on pages which shouldn’t be deleted, but rather should be redirected to another page.

This template also puts the page into Category:Candidates for redirection.

Usage

Target page (required)

Here, put the place where the page should be redirected.

Reason (recommended)

Reason why the page should be redirected.

Nocat=yes

Prevents the page from being put in the Category:Candidates for redirection.
