Introduction Greetings, my nickname is Toxik. I am a software engineer from the Netherlands, and I play games in my spare time. I have been playing Terraria for a while now, and have been gratefully making extensive use of this wiki. It is my intention to help whenever and wherever I can, as I am already experienced with editing wikis. As it happens, I also play Minecraft, and even run my own server. At first I actually believed that Terraria was a bit of a rip-off. However, the two games simply share a similar concept. Granted that I find it easier to put up a base in Minecraft (I still am uncomfortable with the way Terraria implements walls) Terraria has, in fact, much better thought-out enemies, weapons, environments, decoration items, etcetera, and Minecraft could really learn from this game. Wish list Dedicated Linux server daemon, no GUI nor relying on Wine. Improved wall mechanics, i.e. easier to see where you're placing them and the ability to remove them without knocking down items in the foreground. A shield to actively block against attacks, especially from Hornet stingers.

Todo list Patrol the wiki for vandalism. Look for a new project.
