Increased insect spawning?

Am I insane or does this cause Insects to spawn more often? I got this weird thing where tons of butterflies apeared from nowhere.--81.178.135.35 23:20, 15 May 2014 (UTC)

Some time ago another user asked a similar question regarding Firelies. The conclusion of that was that they spawn randomly, so I'm guessing it's the same in this case. NoseOfCthulhu (talk) 22:18, 16 May 2014 (UTC)

Do Angler Earrings stack?

edit by Jaldarith: It appears that you cannot wear more than one of these without using an inventory editor. So I will assume they don't otherwise.

But does Angler Earring stack with Angler Tackle Bag?? Nvm, it seems that it does in angler tackle bag page, hope it's correct.

What is the actual chance of obtaining it from an angler quest?

The Angler Earring page says 1/40 (2.5%)
The Angler page says 2% (1/50)

It is not that easy, the chances are changing depending on which quest it is, described on the Angler page. For an overview of the chances you can look User:SDGlyph/Sandbox/AnglerQuestRewards, I have not checked the numbers. Flisch42 (talk) 23:20, 20 August 2016 (UTC)

It might just be some hidden setting, but instead of "Contents" it says "Inhaltsverzeichnis". It doesn't happen on other pages, so I'm stumped. Anyone else experiencing this? Solar (wall) 15:01, 28 March 2021 (UTC)

Yes, I have seen that happen occasionally on other pages and with other languages, too. Earring able to be obtained even with lavaproof tackle bag equipped

In 1.4.3.6 (in multiplayer) I was able to obtain a second angler earring while having the lavaproof tackle bag (an upgraded version) equipped in a main accessory slot. This happening should directly contradict one of the main paragraphs in the main page, and I'm wondering if the source for that information was faulty or there was an inaccuracy not accounted for in multiplayer worlds. — Preceding unsigned comment added by VeryBadQuotes (talk • contribs) at 01:23, September 24, 2022 (UTC)

Please read that paragraph again. It said that if you have Lavaproof Tackle Bag, you can receive duplicate Angler Earrings. BadPiggy1024 (talk) 01:36, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
