Any language that Terraria officially supports (English, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Polish, Simplified Chinese and Brazilian Portuguese) should work and display properly in chat. --Eraloiz (talk) 13:07, 18 March 2020 (UTC)

another question: what characters does Terraria support in chat? this can be the most obscure thing - unicode right to left character, soft hyphen ... how can we even check this? some characters Terraria interpurts as a "*" . TheLainad27 (talk) 18:09, 16 June 2020 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure there's a "font" file you can get with TConvert and the like, which contains everything the game can handle. Anything not in the font files is turned into a "*". --172.58.7.71 18:22, 16 June 2020 (UTC)

death/deaths command needs to be added

a lesser-known feature in 1.4.4 was the addition of the /death command, which tells how many times the player has died in a world.
