Cutlass Damage
According to this wiki page, the cutlass does 51 damage. According to the Swords page, it does 61 damage. Which is correct? Gamablaze (talk) 19:18, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
Cutlasses and Scimitars
The tip about it being a scimitar is a bit bogus. Scimitars are just what the west called the curved swords that the persians et al. used. If, by strange chance, two smiths forged identical curved blades, the one forged by the Persian smith would be a "scimitar" (though he'd call it a shamshir, scimitar is just what the colonial powers called them) and the one forged by the English smith for use aboard a ship would be a cutlass. Terraria's devs seem to know when to call a scimitar a scimitar and a cutlass a cutlass, do we really need this second guessing nonsense on the wiki?
