Deerclops can spawn in with out the player summoning him in
so I was in the snow biome when it was raining (in pre-hardmod, solo) making npc hoses, then the nest thing I know is that Deerclops have spawn in and I did not have a deer thing on me; I also kill two before this one spawn in. I don't know if there is a chance for him to spawn if you do something like I did or just afk. But I do like he can spawn in after you have kill him just like in Don't Stave Together.
Um, this is on the wiki, and I quote; "Deerclops can also spawn naturally at midnight during a Blizzard on the surface Snow biome after fulfilling these conditions..."

Nope, not a glitch, just a ridiculously lucky kill.
Pronoun usage
Is calling the deerclops she really accurate?
The exact glass eyebrella item description used to back it up mentions "a deerclops," meaning there's multiple deerclops, and it makes no sense for every single one to be female. I think for it to be justified it'd need something specifically stating that the exact deerclops in terraria is female, which as far as I know, doesn't exist.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, if I thought I was definitely correct I'd've edited the wiki page.

- Hm, I haven't thought about it that way. It does make sense that there are multiple Deerclops. This would also explain why the characters in Don't Starve use different pronouns in their quotes.
