The individual colored brick pages (linked from this page) are nearly identical and should probably just get merged into this page. -- Michael 22:46, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

This early in the life of the game and the wiki, I'd just as soon keep them separate. -- Wynthyst File:Curseicon.png talk 22:53, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
For some reason I remember reading somewhere that the devs intend there to be like 27 different colors of bricks eventually.. I just made this because I was under the impression there were more than 3, apparently there aren't right now, but there might be later. -Shadowclaimer 01:56, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Explosion immunity?

So if I understand the article correctly, even those pesky hardmode clowns can't blow up houses lined with dungeon bricks? - Spinfx 13:28, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

I -swear- they can. Someone please test this. Sorry, unsigned again. --24.94.94.75 14:33, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
Yes and no. The dungeon bricks are immune to the bombs. However, if the bomb's explosion radius encompasses vulnerable stuff past the dungeon brick, that stuff will be broken. --Theothersteve7 15:07, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, that was very helpful. Looks like I just found my new perimeter building material. - Spinfx 00:33, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

Dungeon Bricks unbreakable on console version?

Dungeon bricks cannot be broken by the nightmare or molton pickaxes on console (PS3) version. Are they completely unbreakable or do drills work? I have yet to put my PS3 world into hardmode and get a drill.

On the console version (not sure if this is true for the computer version), if the dungeon spawns a certain distance from your initial spawn point, the blocks are impervious to all tools. If you want dungeon blocks, you'll need to create a new map.
