Spawning

Must they have jungle grass to spawn, or does it just have to be in the biome? ICEO12 (talk) 17:58, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

(Ping just in case) Apparently Rye was able to confirm that Frogs can spawn anywhere Underground and have a small chance of spawning anywhere on the Surface (rather than grass). Did not expect that answer XD —ϟAwesome_Diamondsϟ^「talk」 21:30, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

Right, they have a small chance of ignoring tile restrictions when spawning on the surface, but in fact, they do require Jungle grass blocks by default, so underground always. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 00:14, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
