A reference to "Lucky Charms"? You've got to be kidding me.--GauHelldragon 04:10, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

I have no clue how to edit this wiki, but can someone put up an 'Anomaly' thing that says this item can have the 'Lucky' modifier, and is then named 'Lucky Lucky Horseshoe'? ~Annonymous — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.39.7.125 at 06:21, 28 October 2013 (UTC)

I remembered that in an old version of Mobile Terraria, Lucky Horseshoe was not included in Floating Island Chests.Does anyone knows the exact version and please write these in 'History'?-BadPiggy1024 — Preceding unsigned comment added by BadPiggy1024 (talkcontribs) at 07:47, 6 October 2018 (UTC)

Drop infobox

Drop section is wrong for computer version: it is now impossible to drop a Lucky Horseshoe in Sky and Azure Crates and Gold Chests should be added (I could not find the way to edit those). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Saeïdryl (talk • contribs) at 15:11, 20 January 2022

Thanks for reporting this, it's now fixed. --Dinoxel (talk) 19:05, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
I'm slightly confused by the drop info for this item. I recently picked one up while delving deep in the Caverns and Underground Desert (I was so busy avoiding mobs I didn't notice exactly when it appeared in my inventory, sadly). I'm fairly sure it was from a Gold Chest though. I've not yet been anywhere near the other sources mentioned on this page. Saiph (talk) 10:25, 14 August 2023 (UTC)

Lucky horseshoe giving Luck

In the page it says that the lucky horseshoe gives 0.05% luck, but when I look on the 1.4.4 page and search for luck I don't see anything saying that, is there something in the source code that says that? Cytra (talk) 18:13, 3 January 2023 (UTC)

Yes. I came across this when comparing the 1.4.3.6 and 1.4.4 versions of the source code for updating the equipinfo database; the relevant method is Terraria.Player.UpdateEquips. You should be able to verify this in-game by making sure your luck is 0 (→ Luck#Influences), then equipping a Lucky Horseshoe and talking to the Wizard – he should eventually say one of his luck status quotes as the horseshoe increases your luck above 0. The Lucky Coin is another accessory increasing luck since 1.4.4, as well as a bunch of accessories derived from the two (see Luck#Accessories for the full list). I didn't think about adding this unlisted change to the 1.4.4 page back then, so I did that now. Sorry for the confusion! --Rye Greenwood (talk) 23:10, 3 January 2023 (UTC)
