Tool?

Just how can the Obsidian Swordfish be used as a tool? The article says it can be used as a tool, while the description describes it as a spear and a weapon, and gives no indication of any tool behavior. Esaelon (talk) 18:27, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

That was slightly inaccurate. The trivia item you read was meant to point out that it's one of the few fish that can be "used" in general, as in swung, as either a tool or weapon. I edited the trivia item to hopefully make this clearer. Equazcion ^(talk) 18:47, 7 Jul 2015 (UTC)

Are lava critters required

Are lava critters required or does any lava fishing get this item? I have used around 12 sonar and fishing power potions with the gold rod and angler gear and still haven't gotten this item with lava critters as bait. TheHourMan (talk) 20:58, 4 June 2020 (UTC)

If it helps, I managed to get one after about 2 in-game days with the same setup but with the Hotline Fishing Hook. Whatever the actual probability is, I don't believe it's 1/7. 5.29.4.246 19:07, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
