Changes with 1.4

You can now obtain presents from jellyfish even when it isn't during the Christmas event. I have not seen any other creatures drop them though. 87.115.33.186 14:01, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

Chance to get a snow globe

What does it mean "only hardmode"? I got almost six chests full of presents, the Goblin army is a nice way to get them btw, and opened one half with a softcore character and the other half with a hardmore character, but I never got any snow globe. --217.225.192.133 13:13, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

Hardmode is activated by defeating the Wall of Flesh. Hardcore and Softcore are different character difficulties. See the difficulty page. --Theothersteve7 14:54, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

You collected them before or after activating hardmode? In many games the item you gain from a container is determined at the container's drop time (not the time during which you open it), which is why I'm asking for this clarification. Date/Time Requirement

Could presents and other seasonal items be obtained by changing your computer calendar back to December, or was the standard-issue game client already re-coded to not drop the presents anymore? --Adam222 03:14, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

Yes, you can change your computers calendar. But is is properly easier to use an inventory editor if you want presents. --Icke 12:21, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

When two players are on a server together, one with their date set so Presents can be obtained and one with their date set to another time, do Presents drop for either? I’m on PC. 108.217.54.150 23:10, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

You're Lying

Obviously you cannot obtain the Meowmere, CS, and Phantasm on the mobile version!!! There aren't any code for those items on the mobile version. Any reports must be fake. 172.68.132.61 08:41, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

Well, if you happen to have a peek at the source code for mobile, the files do exist. As for how people obtain them, well that's just pure chance. It is a bug, and is/will be resolved. LordofEditing =(Talk)= 08:42, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
