They nerfed this thing HARD! It was like the BEST food you could ask for...now it's a nobody... Hey, it's a mid-tier food (better than most common critters or fish), and the 8-minute duration is pretty good for something you can grow in quantity. 2 SC50 CC/seed, and average yield for the pumpkins is about enough for a pie each. Or you can collect them in bulk during Halloween season, which is just wrapping up. --MentalMouse42 (talk) 18:07, 30 October 2021 (UTC)

And also remember that it is hard to get large quantities of Grub Soup and many other mid-tier food items, as they require critter/fish to craft, or are only dropped by enemies. The relatively easier-to-get food is the Pho and Pad Thai, but they are much more expensive than Pumpkins. BadPiggy1024 (talk) 06:16, 31 October 2021 (UTC)

Yeah, mostly mid-tier food is either drops, or relatively uncommon critters -- being able to farm it for a few silver is pretty good. Grub Soup in particular is limited by the supply of Buggy, which is not common.
