Jump Fatigue?

This page mentions that you don't get jump fatigue when you use a horse. I've literally never heard this term used before. Anyone know what it refers to? --107.2.104.203 17:05, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure that jump fatigue is a sort of invisible mechanic that creates a "cooldown" for jumping, meaning that after a jump there is a brief period in which no jump is possible again. I myself don't quite know the definition either, but I think that's it. From personal experience, I've never noticed any sort of jump fatigue in Terraria, though I could be wrong. I don't really know the validity of this note, especially since the term, and the mechanic, are mentioned nowhere else on the wiki. --2057clones (talk) 17:14, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

Just for reference: the note about jump fatigue was removed from the page now (Special:Diff/955092). If such a mechanic really does exist, it should be explained at Jump, where all the technical details of a jump are listed, and this page should link to there. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 17:38, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
