cavern+snow?
for me, cavern layer is where common biomes like snow stop and become only purity. (without corruption of any kind, that is.) as i understand, you can have: cavern+ corruption, snow+ corruption, but NOT cavern+snow. which makes the obtention of al three less likely. is it necessary to make an artifiacial biome here? if yes, this should be noted. 85.69.241.244 21:35, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
- I've added an image depicting the area. Snow generally extends down naturally through part of the Cavern layer, although the Crimson/Corruption doesn't get there until Hardmode places the Underground Corruption/Underground Crimson. Equazcion (talk) 03:17, 20 Jul 2014 (UTC)
Is it confirmed hallow+cavern snow actually works for this? It seems to be much more common with crimson.. I went through 80 worms in the hallow and got nothing, the crimson yielded at least 4 truffles with 30 worms.
- Not only did I get my Scaly Truffle from the Hallow+Snow, but pigrons appear in both biomes so it only makes sense. - 68.117.21.124 05:36, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
Fishing Power Description
It says '50%' and '100%' fishing power. Fishing power isn't in a percentage, and it definitely goes past 100? Sentricast (talk) 17:07, 20 May 2017 (UTC)
- Good catch. I'm not exactly sure what the chance is with 100+ fishing power, but it shouldn't be listed as a percent in this case. – KM100 (talk) 04:44, 21 May 2017 (UTC)
ios seems unobtainable too
At first I just thought it was immensely bad luck, but after seeing the notice for android players, I think the inability to catch this item affects ios users as well. Considering I have been fishing in the right area, as I am catching ebonkois, atlantic cod, and armored cavefish, I should be able to catch the Scaly Truffle. I know it is incredibly rare, but considering I have caught 4 Zephyr Fish, I believe this might be an error in the game and not bad luck on my part.
