Melee speed and mining speed

I tested the claws on a pillar of 500 stone blocks split in 2 columns, thus 250 blocks per column. I mined the pillar 2 times and compared the times it took me to mine it. Here are the results:

Claws, mining buff and 3 violent gloves: 15s 66ms

Claws, mining buff and no accessories: 15s 166ms

Therefore, I conclude that melee speed does not affect mining speed. You would think that the 45% increase in melee speed from the 3 violent gloves(mechanical glove, power glove and fire gauntlet) would greatly affect mining speed, but it doesn't. The few milliseconds in difference between the two tests is more than likely due to the cropping of the video.

Removed Hallowed Armor Mention

As the person who tested in August said, Melee Speed (or in the case of Hallowed Armor, "Melee Haste") does not affect mining speed. The mention of Hallowed Armor as something that applies to pickaxes is misleading here. Melee bonuses do make Shroomite Claws a better weapon, but they don't make them mine faster.

Are we sure about the sell price
