rarity? or bugginess?

ok guys. i literally farmed it for days at a time. got dozens of everything thats rare in underground snow. killed hundreds of vikings. perhaps thousands. this should theoretically be much less rare than all those others things i got by the truckload.

so. either nuffle, the god of RNG, thinks i should not have it. or there is something. did anyone obtain this since recent patches???

The note about only available pre-hardmode is wrong. I just had one drop in a hardmode world.

It drops

That's how probability works. The forums are full of stories of getting rare items when more common ones are wanted- while a little unexpected, this isn't a bug, just luck. Even so, this has a 2% drop rate, and undead vikings are arguably still more common than ice tortoises, so this isn't even an abnormal result. Gearzein (talk) 20:25, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
