This page is for transclusion testing heading Section 1, labeled section preSection1, {{:User:Ferretwings/Transcluded page|section=Section1}}, and the TOC.

The TOC transclusion doesn't work as intended, btw.

There are several ways to transclude sections.

{{:User:Ferretwings/Transcluded page|section=Section1}} test just ended.

If labeled section and <onlyinclude> tests work properly, you will not see the next section heading "TOC tranclusion test".

TOC transclusion test

Here, the TOC will only be displayed when transcluded. Begin {{:User:Ferretwings/Transcluded page|section=toc}} test now...

The TOC test just ended.

Transcluded TOC will actually belong to the calling page, not the transcluded one. There doesn't appear to be a way to access the TOC from another page.
FYI: the TOC has id="toc", so it can be linked to (eg. User:Ferretwings/Transcluded_page#toc).
