Fading gifs
Hey, you might want to get the other admins' feedback on this, but the fading effect on the anvil and furnace gifs you've provided is a little excessive. The Anvil page already has a suitably elegant solution- it's not that difficult to just have all variants in one image. Please don't add it to a page until we've got a consensus on this.
I do kind of think that a shared quasi-disambiguation page for forges similar to the anvils page would be helpful, since so many recipes are shared, but if I had to say, it's low priority since their unique items are so sparse. I honestly don't know how I feel about merging them either. Gearzein (talk) 21:00, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
It's fine. By the way, I wanted Adamantite and Titanium Forges to be a single page, Mythril and Orichalcum Anvils to be another, and Iron and Lead Anvils to be another. (And also Demon and Crimson Altars to be another.) HI! :3 (talk) 22:56, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
- Also, I just had to. I made animated Demon and Crimson Altars and Mythril and Orichalcum Anvils. Is the fading effect a bit much? If so, I can change that. File:Mythril & Orichalcum Anvils.gif File:Demon and Crimson Altars.gif HI! :3 (talk) 23:19, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
- EDIT: Sorry. I'm going to get rid of the fading effect. Gimme a sec.
- EDIT AGAIN: Apparently, the Altars are already on the same page.
- I'd say that being a gif at all is unnecessary. Just like on Altar, it's much less obtrusive to just have two images next to each other. Gearzein (talk) 23:51, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
- It was a worthy idea, but I agree with Gearzein. Animation is a bit too distracting, even without the fade.—BlueMana (talk) 05:23, 5 May 2015 (UTC)
That's fine. It was just a thought. Though I still think combining the pages is a good idea. HI! :3 (talk) 01:27, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
