Are there any options for a spoiler template I'm missing or would that need to be created?

Thinking something similar to Boss and Weapon templates that begin hidden but can be expanded to reveal information but not set up to look like a footer navigational inclusion.

None of the templates are collapsible in that way, so something like this would have to be created. Some basic collapsing can be done through ajax, and this is used on pages with exceptionally long lists, but that's not an optimal solution for what you likely have in mind.
Out of curiosity, where would you expect this to be implemented? No such functionality exists because there's not a pressing need- the implication of a wiki is that one will be exposed to spoilers out of necessity, so we've never taken measures to conceal information for that reason. That said, I can see it having use on a page like Zombie where multiple NPC infoboxes are found on one page. Gearzein (talk) 16:59, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
Just thinking it would be nice to be able to include official spoilers like yellow wires and configurable AND gates in the upcoming 1.3.1 patch without just putting it up there... I guess it would be unusual for someone to check in on the Upcoming Features page but not want to know any features that have officially been announced... Casey37 (talk) 17:59, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
We typically don't put that kind of stuff on main pages because of its volatility. For example, if we had added the announced summoner modifiers to the Modifier page, we'd have had to just remove them without fanfare on release, as no form of them ever materialized. Since spoilers tend to come in unrelated packs extrapolated from "leaked" screenshots, most people just check the Upcoming Features page anyway, so spoilers like that are relatively quarantined already. Roger that, thanks for the prompt feedback. :) Casey37 (talk) 18:28, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
