On the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version, there are some differences in the Traveling Merchant's inventory. He also cannot defend himself against enemies.

Items sold

The Traveling Merchant can sell the Ammo Box (rarity slot 3) and the Celestial Magnet (rarity slot 4). Pad Thai and Pho are in the rarity slot 1.

Furthermore, the Sitting Duck's Fishing Pole is sold at any point in game progression, not only after defeating Skeletron. The Pulse Bow requires Plantera to be defeated.

The following tables list the chances of the numbers of items sold by the Traveling Merchant.[1] Only "base" items are counted, i.e., Dynasty Shingles are excluded from this number, since they are always sold together with their "base" item Dynasty Wood.
