Talk:Crystal Slime

According to souls and King Slime page, their minions cannot drop souls of light or night as the 1.4.0.1 update, so is this valid?.--Daud ahn (talk) 13:31, 7 June 2020 (UTC)

I'm unable to verify this via the game's code, but I found the question interesting. After killing roughly 10 to 20 Crystal Slimes in a place where Souls of Light drop from other mobs it "seems like" they are indeed unable to drop souls. Probbly in order to avoid cluttering the fighting area during the boss fight. (I did my testing in Journey Mode on Expert difficulty.) --193.70.13.32 14:20, 7 June 2020 (UTC)

On a more practical note: Farming Souls of Light/Night through summoning a Queen Slime does not seem very efficient to me. Besides having to deal with the boss you would also need to hunt down the summoning items. --193.70.13.32 14:24, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
